Our Corvette Interface Adapter Kit:

  • Facilitates the installation of a C5 / C6 Corvette IRS into just about anything with four wheels.

  • Takes the guesswork out of the installation and places every suspension mounting point exactly where it was designed to be.

  • Allows the entire IRS system to be installed in fraction of the time that would be required to install even a conventional 4-link or ladder-bar system.

  • Is a true bolt-on suspension upgrade, once the rear frame is properly positioned in the car.    

Here's how it works:

The factory C5 or C6 Corvette lower suspension cradle only has mounting points for the lower control arms, because the upper control arms, shocks and even the cradle itself are bolted directly to the Corvette's original unibody frame...






However, with the addition of our Corvette Interface Adapter Kit...

...the new assembly instantly becomes a complete top to bottom suspension mounting  platform with additional mounts for the upper control arms, the shocks, the lower cradle, and even the main frame, built right in - making the entire suspension assembly a breeze to install!






Shown above is the Corvette Interface Adapter Kit mounted on a 6" narrowed C5 Cradle, ready to be installed in our Chevy S-10 project truck.

We call it a Co-Kart (Short for a Corvette Go-Kart) 

Below are several photos. 


With the front adapters finally available, our Patented Modular Suspension Design opens up an entire new arena for the Do-It-Yourself builder.


It's an LS-3 powered, Corvette C5 suspended, all-aluminum, bolt-together frame, based on our suspension adapters - configured as a Type 3 style drivetrain.


The transmission is a 4L60E, modified my RPM Transmissions, from Anderson IL.

The torque tube is eliminated and replaced with a Camaro-style bellhousing,

allowing a Corvette differential to be used in this high tech kit.

This particular vehicle has a 104.5" wheelbase - the same as the C5 Corvette, with the same front WMS (Wheel Mounting Surface) to WMS width as the C5 Corvette.  The rear WMS to WMS has been stretched, giving an additional 3" width.


This could be built as a one or two passenger vehicle, with the second seat to the side or to the rear of the driver.

It weighs in at 1,369 pounds.  With a completed engine and trans, a roll bar and harnesses, radiator and exhaust, we estimate the final weight

from 1,800 to 1,900 pounds!
